But since he was around 7 months old, he has started being aggressive

Continuing the discussion from Introduce Yourself:

Your dog is a little insecure and he is dominant too, So we need to work on two issues here:

  1. Insecurity
  2. Dominance

So when an insecure dog becomes dominant or humans fail to build a respectful relationship with the dog because of a lack of knowledge, that dog becomes a ticking time bomb.

I don’t want to scare you but the aggression will keep on intensifying that no family member will be able to roam freely in the house, and you all will feel that you are in jail.

This doesn’t mean that the dog is mean, but the dog is actually behaving according to the way he is feeling inside.

So we need to work on him so that he can feel calm and submissive, not insecure and dominant.

Start following rituals of dogs consistently, it will calm the dog down and will create respectful behaviour between humans and him. Go through the course once and learn what mistakes you made and what your and your family’s behaviour needs to be changed.

As this issue is serious, I recommend you get help from a dog behaviourist who can come to your place to assess the dog.

Thankyou for the tips.
We’ll try this definitely!
