Recently my dog has developed a habit of taking the first treat or bite of food & keeping it aside until other treats are not over…once one treat session is complete, then he picks up that first treat that he kept aside to have it at last.
What could this behaviour mean?
This is a survival behaviour that many dogs do during the summertime, they find the food and hide it to eat them later.
But when the dog starts eating then he can’t stop and will eat the food that he is saving too.
